Personal: 

Where did you grow up?

British Columbia, Canada! I still reside here. 

How tall are you? Have you ever dreamt of being taller?

A whole 5 feet. Crazy right? Haha. I haven’t. Most people are always shocked when they realize how petite I am. I am not sure why. I think my height is perfect for my personality… if that makes any sense. 

Dogs or Cats?

Both. However, Benji (my cat-nephew) will always be my number one. He turned me into a crazy cat lady. I used to be so scared of cats simply because you never know what they are thinking or what they are about to do.

Do you speak any other languages?

Besides English, I speak Punjabi and French. I was in French immersion throughout grade school and just need someone to start a conversation with before the French starts coming back. I like to pretend I can speak Hindi, but really, I can only understand it. 

Describe yourself in 3 words:

Independent, intuitive and persistent. 

Who is your favorite musician?

BEYONCE. Always. #beyhive 

Are you an introvert of extrovert?

Definitely an introvert. Depending on the situation I am in, I can also be very extroverted. However, I do very well in pure silence and being alone. 

What personality trait has gotten you in the most trouble?

There are two of them - my brutal honesty and my stubbornness. 

What is the most courageous thing you've done?

Setting and sticking to my personal boundaries. I believe having your own self-respect, morals and sticking to your word are incredibly important. There is almost no reason to compromise your own energy. 

Would you rather be able to read minds or be invisible?

I would LOVE to be able to read people's minds. Although, I think that it could be quite dangerous in the long run. 

Travel:

When’s your next vacation and where are you going?

In a few weeks! I will be travelling to London and Jordan. I believe that will be my last trip for 2019. I’ve done a bit of travelling this year. Jordan is number one on my travel bucket list so this will be surreal. 

Do you prefer the beach or mountains?

Both. I can’t pick one over the other. The wonderful thing about living in B.C. is that there are mountains everywhere. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking. However, I am not fond of the beaches we have locally. 

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I don’t know exactly where in the world I would choose. I would pick a place that has all four seasons, easily accessible with all forms of transportation, somewhere with beautiful views, and is also kind of secluded and yet safe. 

What is the first thing you do once you get home from a trip?

Unpack my bags and put everything back to it's rightful home. Everything has to be neat and clean before I can go to bed haha. 

Are you over-prepared or under-prepared? 

Always over-prepared. I would rather be safe than sorry. This is probably the reason why I won't learn how to travel lightly. 

Beauty:

Which three cosmetics are always in your handbag?

I don’t usually carry touch ups. The only products I carry in my bag are usually lip products. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, MAC Cosmetics Soar Lip liner and Dior Lipglow in Raspberry. 

A concealer or a foundation. What do you apply first?

I always apply foundation before concealer.

An eyeliner or an eye mascara? What is your favorite?

Mascara unless I have eyelash extensions. 

Which face wash is your favorite?

Recently, I’ve been hooked on the Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel. 

Name your favorite shampoo?

For the last year and a half I have been using the AMIKA Bust your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo and the Joico Colour Balance Blue as my hair is dyed. 

What do you prefer? A Straightener or a curler?

I definitely use a curler more often than a flat iron. 

How much time do you often required for a party makeup?

This timeline depends on my mood. I don’t get dolled up often, but when I do I like to enjoy the process. It can take me anywhere between 45 minutes to two hours depending on how distracted I am. 

What is your favorite color of lipstick?

Marc Jacobs Nude Lipstick in Role Play. It has been my favorite for nearly 4.5/5 years. 

Which cosmetic product you do not remove while sleeping?

Remove it ALL before you sleep people. Please. Then apply your skincare!

Which moisturizer is your favorite?

Ole Henriksen C-Rush Vitamin C Moisturizer. 

Which Country’s makeup is your favorite?

I am currently obsessing over Australian makeup trends.

Which brand has the most attractive packaging?

I love Marc Jacob’s and NARS packaging because it is always so sleek and simple. 

Which makeup remover do you prefer?

Any one of the Shu Uemera cleansing oils for my face. Clinique Take the Day off Remover for the eyes. 

Skincare or makeup? What is more important?

Skin care. If you do not have a good base, the makeup products will not meet your expectations. Skin care and having great primers are vital prior to makeup application.
